Can't connect to internet anymore and getting this error:  Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter is experiencing driver or hardware-related problems

I have deleted driver, restarted computer, and let it automatically install driver again.  I was able to connect to my wi-fi again then it dropped.  All my other devices can connect to my wi-fi fine, so it is definitely my laptop.

Please help!!!

Hello kittyhez,

Hope you are all fine.  You mentioned your operating system is Win 10.  I see that you have definitely done some troubleshooting already.  Could you please specify the model number of your computer?

Hello kittyhez,

You would definitely want to have internet connection to download the drivers.  Please look at this page HP Customer Support HP Pavilion 15 and:

1- Select the specific HP Pavilio series that correspond to your laptop

Choose product.JPG

2- Choose operation system Windiws 10 (It´s ok that it wasn´t the original one, if we have it as an option in our page, your page is compatible

3-Select in Driver Network your Realtek Wireless and LAN Driver.

How are supposed to download the driver without internet?

I used an ethernet cable to connect (that works). But never could find a driver to download. I did get it to pull in the driver but continue to have the same problem off and on. Sometimes a restart works but doing it over and over all day long is annoying to say the least.

I used an Ethernet cable and connected my laptop to my modem (router?) for internet access. I used HelpfulPaos link to update the ones that seemed to be pertinent under the networks tab. I also found that you can open your device manager on your laptop and there is a tab called NETWORK ADAPTERS. Under there , I right clicked on my adapter (my laptop has a Realtek brand) and there is an option that says UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE. After it completed, I restarted my computer. Working fine now!

Hi

Luckily the OP has other devices that connect, else how would the post get made?

So with a bit of thinking pow(d)er you download onto a Phone and Bluetooth it across.

You try a cable, you try an internet cafe and USB stick, you TRY
