Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter 

 

went a few weeks ago - and I followed the uninstall and reboot advice

this has got worse and is now happening every day

often requiring 8-12 reboots

uninstall device - says it unisntalls the driver - but doesn’t (as it appears on the reboot as a faulty driver with the triangle below)

right click on properties

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful.

on the 26th April I did 16 reboots and gave up

then yesterday#tf it has been on and WORKING from 9-6 without fail

at 1930 This device cannot work properly until you have restarted your computer. (Code 14)You need to restart your computer before the changes that you made to this device will take effect. and it was fine all evening

I checked driver updates etc and had  today (30th April - free from crashes 9-1600)

then it started crashing again

I uninstall uninstall device - device manager says it unisntalls the driver - but doesn’t (as it appears on the reboot as a faulty driver with the warning triangle

EVENTS says ""\VEN_10EC&DEV_8179&SUBSYS_197D103C&REV_01\4&1906bbf&0&00E2 requires further installation"

 

I have had this issue  (and its getting worse) since February 20th and have no more faith in HP or Realtek drivers

do you mean both realtec drivers? or just the crap one?

it's really pissing me off now too! - I have rebooted 4 times today

the latest in the saga!

spent an hour with HP on their support line -essentially they took everthiing off it and reinstalled the drivers

 

it worked for a whole week and this morning (1020) it stopped and buggered up again

argh
