Hi
Unfortunately, I won't be able to be of any help.
I do not offer any wifi upgrade guidance on newer models because I have seen that some of the newer models do prevent any wifi card from working (re-instituted BIOS whitelist?).
This is not the first time I have seen such a post regarding the 15t-ac000 model series.
And it is a hit or miss thing. Some new models do, and some don't.
Not to mention that most new model notebooks with single band wifi adapters only come with one antenna, which rules out all but the most technically skilled folks from doing an upgrade, since adding a second antenna is very difficult.
The last model series I offer wifi upgrade advice for, is the 15t-p000 series.

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, that I do not know.
But when you get a BIOS message like that, there is some kind of whitelist for sure.
I have also read a few posts where forum members have installed unsupported wifi adapters in some models, and they don't show up in the device manager.
It's as if there is no power to the wifi card.
No BIOS message, no error message, no nothing.

Update:
There is no "white list" or anything similar for recent notebooks like yours.
If your system is having issues with wireless, it is not because it is being blocked from being used.
Your issue has been forwarded to HP for review.
