I have an HP Beats Special Edition Notebook 15-p390nr (product number N8W02UA) and would like to be able to connect to my 5GHz band wifi at my home. Is it possible to replace the current adapter card (only works with 2.4GHz band) with an AC adapter card?
From some cursory research, I was looking at a "Broadcom BCM 4352 WLAN 802.11 AC+BT4 2x2HMC" (724935-001) which looks like it works for a Pavilion 17 with the same AMD A10-7300 1.9GHz cpu. I haven't been able to find a maintenance and service guide manual for my beats pc to confirm this wifi adapter would be compatible.
This wifi card on ebay is the one I'm considering. Would this work for my beats pc?
Thank you for all your help.

Hi:
If your notebook has two antenna cables connected to the card in there now, the Broadcom AC card you posted will work.
The service manual will not list the card as compatible. HP only tests a limited amount of wifi cards in each model.
Here is the link to the service manual if you need instructions for how to remove and replace the wifi card.
