I recently reinstall my upgraded Win 10 to its original version- Windows 10 2016.
Now my internet is dead. I checked my Device Manager. The SM Bus Controller has a yellow sticker over it.
How do I download a SM Bus Controller on ANOTHER COUMPUTER, SAVE IT ON A usb STICK AND run it on my PC.

Hello again. I see you found a Windows 10 2016 version.
In order to find the driver you need - while in the Device Manager - right click on the SM Bus Controller then click on the "Properties" category. Then click on the Details tab. In the "Property" description box, changed that to the "Hardware Ids"
and either google for that ID or post it here for assistance.
Of course posting the HP model number would be useful as I could give you the support page where all of the drivers are listed.
Once the correct driver is found and downloaded just download directly to the USB flash drive or "copy and paste" to the flash drive. Then insert the USB drive in the problem PC, open "This PC" and find the USB drive listed, double click on it and find the driver on the flash drive. If that is all that is on the flash drive, it will be easy to find. Finding what the driver is called will be used in the next step.
Back in Device manager, right click on the SM Bus Controller again and then pick "Update driver" on the next screen, pick "Browse my computer for drivers" In the box that opens next, click on "Browse" box. It will open a new window. If it has not highlighted "This PC", change to "This PC" and then the flash drive. Then pick the file name and then click on the "next" box.
It should then install the driver.
OR
If the driver is part of an executable, just double click on the file - while viewing in the USB drive's window - and the driver will self install.

Here are all the drivers listed for that model
Go to that site with any working PC and download all of the drivers to the flash drive. The one most likely to do first is the Chipset driver
The Intel Chipset Installation Utility and the Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface Driver
Those might run by double clicking on them, once on the flash drive and plugged into the
HP Notebook - 14-ac100na
You may need one of Intel Management Engine Interface drivers, too.

Well that is interesting. Here is a link to each driver, then. Each of these files, once downloaded to the flash drive and then placed in the target PC USB port, should run without problems.
Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once those are installed, the subject PC can go to the first link I posted and see the rest of all the drivers for that model. There should be a green box that says "Detect my drivers"

Of the first 4 download sites, site 2 and 4 could not be downloaded-reason "This platform is not supported". Site 1 and 3 passed. I have installed 1 and 3. The SM Bus Controller now no longer appears on the Device Manager with a yellow marking.
The Internet is still not available. Did some trouble shooting, etc but can`t get the internet to work. Whats UP doc?

This did not appear on my screen. No Green Box to detect my drivers

Well, not all of the drivers will work with that model, but they are written to display the message "This platform is not supported" for the one that do not fit.
I think you will need the drivers for the network devices. Some of these might also give you that same message for ones not support on the hardware.(depending on the hardware in your laptop)
Those two depend on Broadcom hardware. If you have Realtek hardware, then these
and if you also have Realtek Bluetooth
These should get you online and the find the rest by clicking on the link and the Green Box
