Can you print from your computer ? Please try this scan solution:
Using HP Scan Extended
https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
Let us know if that works - whether the 2 sided scan option is there?
Once it's downloaded and installed,
(a) Hit Win key,
(b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
(c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"
You can put its icon on Taskbar if you wish.
