Common problems for Connectivity Issues

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Try these steps:

Reset Network Settings

Turn on the printer.

Press and hold the Wireless button (📶) and the Cancel button () together for 5 seconds.

The Wi-Fi light should start blinking, this means the printer is ready to connect.

 

Use HP Smart App

Download and install the HP Smart App from https://123.hp.com on your phone or computer.

Open the app and click “Set up a new printer”.

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

Ensure your phone/computer is on the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to connect to.

If prompted for a password, enter your Wi-Fi password carefully.

 

Still Not Connecting?

Check for dual-band routers: Make sure you're connecting to a 2.4 GHz network (some HP printers have trouble with 5 GHz).

Restart your router and printer, then try again.

Temporarily move the printer closer to the router during setup.
