I have a HP windows 11 laptop that I bought a few months back. Every was okay but recently when I try to connect to the internet it's displayed the message "Unable to Connect to this network" and it has stopped displaying the available networks that I have saved and connected to before, just displays random network that I don't know, doesn't even display my home internet and when it doesn't display it and I try to connect it loads until it displays the above message. I have done everything including troubleshooting, updating driver and running Network Diagnostic tests.
I tried downloading a new driver but couldn't it's a 'Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter'
"Wireless Module Test, Wireless Stress Test, Wireless Driver Test" could not be performed because Location Services were required but my location was already on and selected. so I disabled it and re-enabled it but still the same message appeared.
Please Help if you have an idea

Hi @Leon887
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like you've been through quite a bit of troubleshooting already—let's try to tackle this issue step by step and get your WiFi working again:
🌟 Steps to Resolve the WiFi Issue:
🔄 Reset Network Settings:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Scroll down and click Network Reset. This will reinstall network adapters and reset settings to default.
📡 Update Realtek WiFi Driver:
- Download the latest driver for the Realtek RTL8822CE adapter from the HP Support page or Microsoft Update Catalog. If the driver is in a CAB file format, extract it and install it manually:
- Open Device Manager.
- Right-click the WiFi adapter and select Update Driver.
- Choose Browse my computer for drivers and point to the extracted folder.
⚙️ Enable Location Services:
- Ensure Location Services are enabled:
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location.
- Turn on Location Services and ensure your laptop is allowed to access location.
🛠️ Run Wireless Module Test:
- Open HP Support Assistant and navigate to the Diagnostics section.
- Run the Wireless Module Test to check for hardware issues.
🌐 Manually Add Your Network:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi > Manage Known Networks.
- Click Add a New Network, enter your WiFi name (SSID), and password, then save.
🔌 Restart Router and Laptop:
- Power off your router for at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Restart your laptop after the router is fully operational.
