HP Notebook 15-AC144ND
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there!

I have bought an HP Notebook 15-AC144ND. Now, this notebook came shipped with the Realtek RTL8188EE Wireless, which does not suit my needs (No 5Ghz or Bluetooth). So, I read in the service manual (LINK) , there is compatibility with the Intel 3165 AC module. Has anyone done this upgrade? Can anyone confirm me the machine will indeed work with this module without giving me a BIOS error? wifis.PNG

I read your post about the WLAN Module, and wanted to assist you!

If the WLAN Module is listed in the notebook's service manual, it should be supported.

I also wanted to just follow up, that I have contacted HP Chat Support and they confirmed it with me as well. Looks like I'm all clear to do the upgrade 🙂 chat transcript.PNG
