WLAN failed. Purchased new Broadcom 4313gn (p/n 657235001)  but it fails BIOS whitelist test

Hi:

 

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it came with a Realtek 8188GN PCIe Half MiniCard (HMC) WiFi adapter - 802.11b/g/n 1x1.

You will need to buy that model wifi adapter, and it must have the HP part number on it or it won't work.

 

I would do a search by the part number on eBay and only buy one where is shows an actual photograph of the card in the listing with the part number on the 'Replace with HP spare' label.
