Hi, I was wondering whether I can upgrade the wlan module from 7260 to a newer version e.g. 8260 or 8265? Thanks.

Hi @Greynaldum

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether you can upgrade the wireless card on your computer.

Don’t worry, we will work together to resolve this issue and It’s a pleasure to assist you in this regard.

I checked the specification of your PC and see that the wireless card on your PC is on a M.2/PCIe slot. You can upgrade the wireless card whichever fits this slot. However, HP doesn’t recommend any downgrade or upgrade of the hardware components on your computer as it may void the warranty.  You can upgrade at your own discretion.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
