Product: Spectre 16-f1xxx

New laptop, spectre 16-f1xxx. completed all routine updates for new laptop, uninstalled 2x HP supplied VPN adapters, tried to connect to Ethernet and find that the wired Ethernet adapter doesn’t exist (code 45) wifi & Bluetooth are fine, Ethernet not hidden in device manager just not there hence code 45. Restarts, windows update, hp support assistance, Intel etc all fail to reload it stating everything is up to date. What adapter is fitted so I can find correct drivers and how do I reinstall the adapter
