Hi,
My laptop has a similar spec (check my first post). The issue has started 1 and a half year after purchasing the laptop.
I even got disconnected 2 times while posting this reply.
I know HP does provide only a 1-year warranty but for the issues that HP support cannot fix they should help us replacing the product otherwise what is the point of buying a branded product which is priced higher than similar products from other brands.

Do you by chance the Realtek RTL8822 CE 802.11ac wireless adapter? If so, good luck as that seems to be a common link. I just returned my one week old laptop for depot repair. If it wasn't under warranty, I would install a different wireless adapter.

Unfortunately all of these plus some input from other IT friends did not worked at all. HP sent me box to return for repair but considering that I bought it new and in need of it, I end up negotiating with the vendor for a laptop replacement of diff. brand, |I did not mind adding 200 more for a higher performance but lower mem and ram capacity, I just don't have time for this crap and waste my time fixing it, I don't think customers deserves this kind of mess from day one. This 10th Gen HP 17 with Realtek 8822CE adapter is the culprit so I am avoiding any of it for now so I got an Intel adapter for a Core i7 machine. Thanks everyone for the effort. I will retain my wife's the same model and size but 8th Gen with was bought just 3 months away and that works fine until today.

Good luck. If I happen to still have wireless connection issues after I get my 2-week old laptop back sometime next week, I'm installing a new wireless card myself... and it won't be Realtek. If I don't request a refund, after this I'm done sending it back into Depot just so they can install another useless Realtek 8822CE. Functionality/usability outweighs voiding the warranty on something I can fix myself.
