@FSC3975
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What is the operating system?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • Are you getting any error message or code while connecting to a network?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Hard Reset:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3) Remove the Battery. ( not for Built-in Battery computer )

4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.

5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer if it's a (removable battery)

6) Try to turn on the computer and check, If the issue persists continue next step

Set BIOS default and restart:

  1. Restart your notebook.
  2. During startup, press F10 repeatedly until the BIOS menu is displayed.
  3. Once the BIOS menu is displayed, press F9 to restore factory defaults.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. Press F10 to save changes and exit.
  6. Select Yes to confirm.
  7. The computer restarts using the default settings.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for posting back.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. To get the answer to this question, performing bios default will not wipe your system data or files. Hence, you can work on it as per your convenience and keep me posted on the results.

HP wifi issue solved

HP Recommended

HP is stupid brand, don't go for the junk piece of sh***.
I have been using an Asus  for last 10 years, bought a HP recently.

Everything else is good, except the Customer service and wifi.

For this wifi connection, I called them, they told me I have to pay $19 for a month for support.

They made a UEFI hardware test, sw made by HP, and it shows the HW is good.

The SW team, even b4 they make sure its a SW issue, they want to bill me.

The driver SW is made by HP, the OS is loaded by HP, As user I don't have access to any of this.

This is clearly, a manufacturer issue, and HP want me to pay for their mistake.
And when escalated some of their agent said, to factory reset the PC.
Stupid idiots, easy way loot customers.

NO MORE STUPID JUNK HP.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

HP, WAS a reliable brand, don't go for the junk piece of sh***.
I have been using an Asus for last 10 years, bought a HP recently.
Everything else is good, except the wifi.
The Wifi is intermittent, will work, if flip the flight mode twice, in every 30 mnts.

For this, I called them, they told me, I have to pay $19 for a month for support. Even before they are sure that its SW issue.

They made a UEFI hardware test, sw made by HP, and it shows the HW is good. **bleep** fake to loot money.

The SW team, even b4 they make sure its a SW issue, they want to bill me.

The driver SW is made by HP, the OS is loaded by HP, As a user I don't have access to any of this.

This is clearly, a manufacturer issue, and HP want ME to pay, when their engineers have no idea, how stuff works.
And when escalated some of their big brain said, to factory reset the PC. To spend another 2 hours, so that he can take his head off.

I have a 1990 model 433Mhz Intel HP Vectra VL, boot to Windows NT, even now. Now HP makes junk PCs. This is common issue for all the HP laptop 2018 and 2019 models.

Stupid idiots, easy way loot customers. Make quality products guys.
NO MORE STUPID JUNK HP.
