HP Pavilion 14 notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having problem with my wifi adapter. I went to the HP website and download a driver but its the same promlem. I went to device manager, click on network adapters, then i right click on wifi adapter, when to properties and i saw this messag (This device cannot start. (Code 10). Please help.

Most likely Windows 10 updates caused this. Your machine is an  HP Pavilion 14-v063us   which has Windows 8.1 (64-bit) pre-installed, not Windows 10. Its specs:

 

     https://support.hp.com/lt-en/document/c04347478

 

Anyway please download the following Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bgn Wi-Fi adapter driver

 

    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72925.exe

 

(a) Save on your computer,

(b) Goto Device Manager to uninstall existing Wifi driver and reboot,

(c) Right click the downloaded file and select Run as Administrator

Did you upgrade/downgrade your machine ? What is your HP Pavilion 14 notebook ?  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

  Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
