I recently bought a brand-new HP 250 G10. Here are the specifications:
- Device name: HP250G10
- Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1355U 1.70 GHz
- Installed RAM: 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
- System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
- Hard Drive: 1TB SSD
- Network Adapter: Realtek RTL8852BE-VS WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter
The issue with the laptop is that when it’s not charging, the WiFi frequently disconnects, even when I’m close to the router. The issue isn’t with the router, as my other devices stay connected.
I’ve searched online for solutions, but none have worked. Here are some of the things I’ve tried:
- Updated the network card drivers
- Updated Windows
- Unticked the option in power management to prevent the laptop from turning off the network card to save power
- Ran the network troubleshooter
- Reinstalled a clean copy of Windows 11, hoping it would resolve the issue once and for all
- Ran diagnostic tests on my laptop, all of which it passed
- Set 'maximum performance' on Power Saving Mode for Wireless Adapter Setting in the Power Options, in the Control Panel.
Is anyone else facing the same problem?
Is there anything more I can do to solve this issue?
Thanks!

click on the wi-fi card driver then advanced and see if you have this option "leisure power save" and the options it has

@Resistencia, by wi-fi card driver, you're referring to the Network Adapter: Realtek RTL8852BE-VS WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter (in the device manager)? If that's the case, there is "no leisure power save" option.

@Resistencia, I disabled the WiFi adapter and restarted the computer. Then, I had to reactivate the network card to reconnect to WiFi. However, when I removed the charger from the laptop, it disconnected again after about 2 minutes.
