Pavilion 15 n205tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My windows  was crashing all of a sudden one day , so i reinstalled windows , and then i installed all the drivers , and at first wifi was working but it was taking a lot of time to connect and after some time , it was only showing no networks available  and then  i checked all the drivers from device manager , tried to update them , checked whether network adapter was on or not.. done a sms flush , ran a lot of cmd commands , even i reinstalled windows 10. Previously i was using windows 10 1806 or smthing , this issue happened after installing windows 10 1709 , then i installed windows 10 1909 all 64 bit versions. Any idea how to resolve it..  it's bugging me a lot , as i have to do everything via ethernet

Hi:

If your PC has the Ralink wifi/Bluetooth adapter (which the parts list indicates it does), see my reply to this discussion...

Yes, you can upgrade to the Intel card I posted in that discussion.

There is no fix to get the Ralink card to work in the last 3 or 4 builds of W10.

689215-001, that's the hp part number written over the wifi card , so i just went through the link that you send me , so can i use the other one from intel that is mentioned over there even if the part number is different

Hi:

Yes, you want the part number of for the Intel AC wifi card you posted.

Getting another Ralink card would be a waste of time and money.

The 7260 AC wifi/Bluetooth card works fine on the latest build of W10 (v1909)

I have the 7260 AC card in my HP 350 G1 which I had upgraded from a different model wifi card that it came with.

Drivers are also into 2019.
