When your laptop is not detecting any Wi-Fi networks and only shows options like "Airplane Mode" or "Network and Internet Settings," it can be due to several potential issues. Here’s a comprehensive guide to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue:
**1. Check Airplane Mode
- Toggle Airplane Mode:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Ensure that Airplane mode is turned off.
- If it's already off, toggle it on and then off again to refresh the setting.
**2. Restart Your Laptop and Router
- Restart Laptop:
- Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Restart your laptop and check if it detects Wi-Fi networks.
- Restart Router:
- Power off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then power it back on. Check if your laptop detects the network after the router restarts.
**3. Check Wi-Fi Adapter
- Enable Wi-Fi Adapter:
- Go to Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select Device Manager).
- Expand Network adapters and look for your Wi-Fi adapter.
- Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and select Enable if it is disabled.
- Update Wi-Fi Adapter Driver:
