Hi
I have a Notebook that I have had for some time and after an upgrade in my wifi at home I see that it cannot handle it.
For example my smartphone is picking up speeds of up to 250 mbs but my Notebook is around a fifth of that.
Is there a way I can upgrade it to pick up faster speeds please?
The Notebook is a HP Notebook - 15-ba102na
Thank you

Hi:
There is only one card you can upgrade to and this is this one:
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1×1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005/
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an excellent signal, but I doubt you will ever see that speed from it.
Probably half of that speed is more realistic, but it should be a lot better than the maximum speed of 72 MBPS your existing card gets now.
There should be plenty of them for sale on eBay, UK.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:
