Hi do anyone know what's the WiFi ac cards white list compatible with my notebook hp 15 k3d62ea#abu?

I have quick internet connection but my card can cope. Its Realtek 2.4 WiFi . I only have 150mb/s

Router have IEEE 802.11ac
So I'm looking for card with support this standard

I've tried intel 3160 dual band but this card could not start on my notebook.
Is there anything similar with Bluetooth compatible with ?
There's only one antenna in this laptop.
Thanks for advice

Your machine was built in 2015, the chance to upgrade wifi card is high BUT to be safe only use the following list

WirelessIntegrated Wireless options with single antenna (M.2/PCIe):
● Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 M.2 Combo Adapter
● Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter
● Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

Integrated Wireless options with dual antennas (M.2/PCIe):
● Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter

You can use the last one, part number 806723-005. But the bad news is your machine only has one antenna therefore you won't be able to get full benefit of new card

Regards.

Hi!

Thanks for your replay.

I did try Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter. But I had error and this. Error 10 device could not start. That was used card so perchaps it was broken.

I've done some tests and figured out that when bluetooth is on download speed on my current cart is very slow.

Have a look on my video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHpTdxiiu5Mre.

When I disable BT is much quicker.

But I'll try also another wifi adapter and post results.

I've also done some research and find an alternative on USB WiFi adapter DWA-171, D-Link.

On the end I've changed my wifi card to Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3165 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter.

This boots even more. My max speed is 150mb/s (from my brodband provider)  So as we can see almost max speed on wifi. Checks been done in the same place as others.

Thanks again
