Did you install the Bluetooth software from Intel?

The version that can't be downgraded to the version I gave you is for newer Wi-Fi adapters.

You have to go to the Windows control panel>programs>uninstall a program and uninstall the Intel Bluetooth software you installed.

Restart the PC and then try the driver from my Skydrive folder again.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't know what that Alps device is.

It must be something you have connected via Bluetooth to the notebook, and you would have to get the driver from the device manufacturer's website.

God Bless you too!

Hi:

What I would do is to try manually installing the driver I gave you for that device earlier which is the Intel Smart Connect Technology driver--sp65233.

Click on the problem Alps device and do the same thing you did with the HP 3110 WWAN adapter, but this time browse to C:\SWSetup\sp65233.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for that ID:

[Intel.NTamd64]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
; ----------- ------- --------
%GenericISCT.DeviceDesc%=GenericISCT_Inst.NTamd64, ACPI\INT33A0
