i am looking to up grade my lan card i now have 150/150 internet speed and my card will only let me get 50/50 at est the card that i have now is raink rt-3290 the laptop has intel core i3.

i just orded acard it is ( Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 )
it showed it works i hope it works and is there a better card for this unit

You do have 2 antennae and it is likely you are not hampered by the HP whitelist which blocks unapproved wiress cards from working.
Installation instructions on p. 42. Since you have already ordered the Advanced-N 6230 you might as well try it and report back here is you get an error message at boot. You want to uninstall the old card from device manager using advanced uninstall to remove the driver and you might want to have the Advanced-N 6230 driver already downloaded to the desktop before you install the new card.
