when printing a document, printer-menue says: must find the printer; if connection was established, menue says: printer is printing, but I wait for minutes and minutes to get out a printed page! Sometimes the printer doesn´t print at all.
I tried to switch off the printer by pull out the cable of the printer; sometimes this works and i get a normal print. But only once, the following prints have the same problem again.
I use also an HP OfficeJet Pro 8620: with this printer I don´t have such problems.

Thank you for your suggested solution and the detailed description.
Meanwhile I had looked up in the database and found a hint referring the connection to the power supply. According to this advice, I shouldn´t connect my printer using a cord with multiple socket, but connect the printer directly to the outlet.
In the case of my OfficeJet Printer the connection goes directly to an outlet, and with this printer I don´t have any problems with printing. My Color LaserJet was connected by using a chain of two cords with multiple sockets. Now I changed it and connected the LaserJet Printer directly to an outlet, and guess what happened? The LaserJet Printer works without problems again. No delay in printing any more.
This is rather strange, but it works. As far as that goes, I didn´t try other measures, so as yours. But I thank you very much for your effort and I will keep your suggested solution for any future problems with printing.
Kind regards

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
This is a great place to get support, find answers to your technical queries.
I understand that the printer is printing slow and has connectivity issues, need not worry I'll be glad to assist you.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you tried changing any printer settings?
How long are you facing this issue?
Are you facing this issue after an update?
Update the firmware for the printer.
Many HP printers released in 2010 and later support Web Services, cloud-based printing services that include ePrint, printer apps, firmware updates, and content that you can print directly from the control panel. These printers can use a direct Internet connection to find and install updates.
NOTE:
Supported printers must connect to a wireless or wired network with an active Internet connection to install updates. If the printer connects to the computer with a USB cable, this update method is not available. Continue to the method to download firmware from the HP website.
Navigate to the printer update feature. Menu names and icons vary by printer.
Printers with an ePrint button or icon: Touch or press the HP ePrint icon or button (
or
), touch or press Settings or Setup if necessary, then touch or press Product Update or Check Product Updates.
Printers with text-based menus: Select the Setup, Service, or Settings menu, select Preferences, Printer Maintenance, or Tools if necessary, then select Web Services, Printer Update, or LaserJet Update.
If you are prompted to sign up or accept terms of service, follow any on-screen instructions to enable Web Services and set up automatic updates. This procedure sets up the printer's Internet connection so it can receive updates.
If the printer does not automatically start the update process, select Check for Updates or a similar menu to start the update.
Then restart the printer.
Try printing.
If the issue persists, I recommend you delete and add the printer as Air print.
Delete the existing print queue and add the printer
Remove the printer queue from the list of printers, and then add it again. Doing so creates a new printing session.
Make sure your Mac is connected to the Internet.
In the Printers list, click your HP printer, and then click the Minus button
to delete it.
Click the Add button
.
Find and select the name of your printer from the Printer list, and then click Add to add your printer. Do not select an HP Fax driver.
note:
If your printer does not display in the list, make sure the printer is connected, turned on, has power, and is ready to print.
Figure : Example of the printer selection list
Click Print Using or Use.
Select the name of your printer (if available) or AirPrint.
Figure : Menu showing AirPrint selected
Your new printer queue displays in the Printers list in an Idle status
.
Figure : Example of a newly added printer in the Printers & Scanners list
Try printing again.
Keep me posted, how it goes!
