Depends on what model laptop it is. Full model name would help to provide you with Manual. Pretty easy on most of the costumer notebooks. You just have to take out old card and put in new dual band card provided your notebook has 2 antennas.

Hi,

If your laptop has two antennas in WLAN card (open it up and check) and it is manufactured after 2013, then you can go for any dual band WLAN card.

Thanks for advice. How easy is it to open the computer and replace the part and where is the best place to get one. I should point that never gone this far have replaced ram chips but that is about it.

hI folks  Came up with an alternative cheap quick solution. Got a plug in dual band usb adaptor which took 10mins to install and connect total cost £25.

Thanks for your help and support
