Hi @Ashish15-n209tx,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding freeze and wireless issues on the HP Pavilion 15-n209tx!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Update Drivers:

  • Visit HP Support and search for your laptop model to check for any available driver updates, specifically for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  • Make sure to download and install the latest drivers even if they seem unrelated. Sometimes updates for general drivers can resolve specific hardware issues.

Power Management Settings:

  • Adjust your laptop's power settings to make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth do not enter low power states that could cause freezes.
  • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
  • Select Change plan settings for your active power plan, then Change advanced power settings.
  • Locate Wireless Adapter Settings, expand it, and set both options to "Maximum Performance."

Disable Power Saving for Network Adapter:

  • Open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting it.
  • Locate your network adapter under Network adapters, right-click it, and choose Properties.
  • Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

System Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows operating system is up-to-date, as certain updates might fix system freeze issues.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for any pending updates.

BIOS Update:

  • Sometimes updating the BIOS resolves hardware compatibility issues.
  • Find the latest BIOS update for your model on the HP Support website and follow the instructions to update it carefully.

Run HP Support Assistant:

  • If you don’t have it installed, download HP Support Assistant from the official HP website.
  • Use HP Support Assistant to scan for and fix any other potential hardware or software issues.

Check Hardware:

  • If issues persist after all software-related checks, consider checking hardware components or seek professional diagnostics. It may be a hardware malfunction related to the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module.

I hope this helps.
