It does not matter what HP PC it is in.

I got pavilion dv7 6c02em running windows 8.1 64bit.... Unknown device since I've bought this pc. It looks like you got a resolution for this problem. Our HP local pages don't offer drivers for this...

See if the plain W8 driver works then.
