Hi i have a hp probook 6550b and i recently got it as a trade and it didnt come with no information at all.Im not sure what info you will need but basically my bios has a password.

 

So i really need it resetting if anyone can help i would be so greatfull.

Hi Provost, I have elitebook 8470p bios and admin password locked. It doesnt give me an error code when I type wrong password wrong for three times.

If this forum thread still gets attention, I have the same exact problem with my Envy dv7t-7300 laptop. I unfortunately had the idea that pressing "enter" for the new password would clear the BIOS administrator password, but it still asks for the password, but neither "enter" or my old password work. So when I enter the incorrect password several times, the message "System Disabled [ 50992609 ]" comes up. If there is a way to find out what to enter to finally get back into my computer, please please please let me know. Also let me know how to clear the password since that was my original intention. Thank you!
