Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When you see this entry under a Device what exactly is it telling me and how can it be corrected?

Device PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_85051043&REV_09\4&45fb534&0&00AA requires further installation

"requries further installation" seems to be saying something is'nt right, possibly this may be the cause of my Sleep/Shutdown issues.

Hi:

Download and install the 2nd driver on the list from the link below.

http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTy...

It won't resolve any of the issues you mentioned.

Hi,,,

thanks for the link, but if it won't correct the problem why would I want to download it?

You're very welcome.

If you ever want to connect your laptop to a network via the ethernet port, you will need that driver.

I did notice that under device manager...Management Engine Driver - Intel®  that the Device PCI...requires further Installation.... The MEI engine has been implicated in Sleep startup issues.

If you are getting a message like that for the Intel Management Engine, then perhaps you should reinstall the IMEI driver.
