Hi, Muddabir:

The first one is the fingerprint sensor, I believe.

I have no idea what the bluetooth peripheral device is.

Hello.

Would anyone be please so kind and could tell me, what drivers should I install and in which order? I know, where to find the drivers for particular OS, but don't know which drivers should I install and in which order. I am going to reinstall OS and would appreciate your advice with installing the drivers.

My OS: MS Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)

My laptop: HP ProBook 4530s   A1G00ES#BCM

Thank you.

Hi, Petr:

For any PC you should install the following drivers in the following order and reboot after each driver is installed for the first three:

1. Chipset

2. Graphics

3. Audio

4. Wired network

5. Wireless network

Any remaining drivers can be installed at will.

My recommendation is to also look in your device manager now for the names of your video and network adapters so you don't have to guess what devices you have installed in your PC.  There can be one of many wireless cards in your PC.

Hi Paul

Thank you for your help. I would like to ask you one more question. Should I install all of the drivers from this site:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=cz&prodNameId=5060882&...

I mean I know I shouldn't install all of them, but which one to choose. For example should I install all four from the chipset category? If not, which one to choose? And does an order of installation within one category (chipset) matter?

If you could write me a list of drivers I should install, I would be really grateful...

I am not sure what drivers to choose for wired and wireless network. These are my components (sorry it's not in English, it's in Czech, but you can see the model ID):

And these are the default (installed in OS when I bought it) driver versions:

I would very appreciate if you or anyone else could help me. Thank you.

You're very welcome.

Yes, that would be the link to download the drivers from

You would need to install these...

1. Chipset

2. Graphics (I don't know what graphics you have.

3. Audio

4. Wired Network.

5.

I don't know what model wireless card is in your particular notebook as there could be one of several.

What you need to do is for any device still needing drivers, you look in the device manager and devices needing drivers will be shown with little yellow ! marks.

Click on each one of those.  Then click on the Details tab. On the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters for each device needing drivers.

Those will identify the model of the devices and I can send you the links to the drivers you need for them.

Thanks a lot Paul. I will do so. The model of my wireless card was on the picture in my post. It's this:

Wireless.jpg

So it's Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.

And my graphic card is Radeon HD 6490M.

I have one device with the yellow ! even now. I remember I couldn't tell what it was when I reinstalled the system last time. Could you please tell me? Top string of characters in Hardware ID of this device is "ACPI\HPQ0004". Thank you.

Hi:

That is the hard drive protection sensor.

I presume you installed the video, and wired and wireless network drivers, and just needed this last one, correct?
