I made sure that all drivers are up to date.
I used this page since my model is not listed in the link you provided
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5313833&
However, HP 3D driveguard is still not working... 😞
I hope that a later update will resolve the issue.
Thank you man

Hi All:
Thank you all for your input.
Windows 8.1 is a a very recent update. HP and Microsoft strive to have the most current drivers but many factors affect this. Drivers will be posted as soon as they become available.

HP has released an update for the HP 3D Driveguard.
I have uninstalled the previous version and reinstalled the latest one issued by HP, now everything is working again 🙂
HP 3D DriveGuard and HP Rapid Start Technology.
Thanks a lot

HI Maroun84 and Jeffrery19965:
Maroun84. Thank you for your support. The accepted solution can only be accessed by the original poster or the first one in the thread. I believe you have access to the kudos though.
Jeffrey19965: As Maroun84 states she uninstalled the old version and installed the new one and it is now working. Have you tried that? If you have and still require assistance please tell me what model computer you have, and what operating system you are running. Please let me know how you make out.

I'm also still having an issue. I unistalled and reinstalled the software but I'm still getting the same error messages I posted in my initial post. I have an Envy 17t-j000 CTO Quad Edition Notebook PC and I'm currently running Windows 8.1.
Thanks for your help,
Austinlo

Hi Austinlo:
I am glad to see you came back!
You stated you uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Did you download an updated version of the 3D Driiveguard software for your computer? You have an Envy 17t-j000 computer. Here is the latest update for the 3D Driveguard click here. I would uninstall the original software, restart the computer and then do a fresh install. Please let me know the outcome as I am here to help anyway I can!

Hi Sparkles1:
Yeah, haha, glad to be back.
I downloaded the latest driver and did what you said with restarting after I uninstalled and then proceding with a fresh install but yet again I'm encountering the same errors. Also I don't know if HP hasn't updated the page you gave me the link to but I actually have this page bookmarked and it gave me a more updated version of the software.
Thanks for your help,
Austinlo

Hi Austinlo:
I am sorry that did not work. I did some further research with the exact error message you provided in the previous post. I am sending a link to a Windows Microsoft answer click here. This should help to explain the issue as well as providing a link in the Answer. Please let me know if this resolved it or not.
I am happy to help!
