Even if you uninstall the windows update it will download again. Best to just uninstall HP 3D Driveguard and wait for new version.

HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor- 3D Driveguard- is the sensor that is supposed to sense if you drop your laptop while it is on and park the head of the hard drive to prevent damage. Not sure how well it works since I see posts where people drop their laptop and it doesn't prevent it.

How about HP get there Act together & release an updated app that works this has been going on for long enough its HP Software that Comes with there Products that is having this issue because they Failed to do an update.How about hearing from them as a Company not Customers trying to Fix issues ??? IN THE END IT WILL EFFECT THEM WHEN THEY LOSE CUSTOMERS
