Model: HP G70-111EM
BIOS: Intel F.65 (Latest)
OS: Windows 7
When I start the laptop, it says "Press the ESC key for Starup Menus".

This brings me to this page

F1 System Information
F2 System Diagnostics
F9 Boot Device Options
F10 BIOS Setup
F11 System Recovery
Enter - Continue Setup
All work except F10 for the BIOS setup.
If I press F9 (either from this menu or from startup) it brings me to the boot options.

Again pressing F10 does nothing.
Selecting the USB drive and pressing just starts the OS.
Have tired:
Reinstalling BIOS
Removing PSU and battery.
Holding Windows Key and B, then F2.
Pressing other f keys.
thanks for your help.

Hello @HPG70111EM,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!
I came across your post about the BIOS issue, and wanted to help!
Did you install any updates recently? Did you always have trouble getting into the BIOS? You can try performing a System Restore, to set the notebook back to its previous working state. If you are still having trouble, try reviewing the following document, and let me know how it goes:
