Hi there,
So I recently got one of your newest models HP Pavilion Gaming 15-bc200nc which came with Win10 home. Due to gaming performance issues I decided to downgrade it to win7.
The whole downgrade process was quite a hell for me since the model wasn`t set up for win7 at all. It was a first sight for me that instalation of drivers after the win7 instalation might be a problem. After many hours I finally managed to get fresh Win7 copy on my laptop.
Later on I found out you guys provide only drivers for OS win10 and none of those are working for my HP Pavilion Gaming 15-bc200nc. I even tried couple which were for older laptop models (win7os) with no success. I am mostly getting error : " your computer does not meet requirements for this type of driver" or " installation didn`t finish up succesfully, drivers might not work correctly.
So my questions are. Do you have any drivers which would work on my laptop with win7 installed?
If not, I will have to install back fresh win10 probably by factory restore way?
(might be an issue with win7 installed?
I really would like to use win7 on my laptop.
Thank you in advance!

Hi:
No PC manufacturer provides any drivers other than W10 for for the Kaby Lake platform notebooks.
You can try to modify the W10 graphics driver on your notebook's support page by using the last reply on the link below as a guide. You will need to substitute the hardware ID for your specific graphics adapter for the lines in the post.
The driver setup information file may be a different file name as well.
Did you try the USB3 drivers directly from Intel and the nVidia graphics drivers directly from Nvidia?
Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/115890/en-us
If you can get the Intel graphics driver to install, then you should be able to get every other driver to work too.
Use the ones from the 15t-ay000 except the graphics, BIOS and firmware files.

Thanks for fast reply,
Well, i tried to follow the guide u linked.
Downloaded Intel Display Drivers for my laptop(http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/closure/hp-pavilion-15-bc200-notebook-pc/13810158/mo...).
Sadly I can`t find the igdlh64.inf file. There is just bunch of igd... .dll. , but not that particular file (I did turn on see all files in win).
Besides in device manager it doesn`t show my proper display adapters - which should be Intel GPU and NVIDIA gpu. It shows only Standart VGA Graphics Adapter
About Nvidia drivers -Yes I did try that already. It won`t allow me to instal it - the instalation says that Intel Driver is needed before the Nvidia drivers instalation.
About USB3.0 drivers - I used your link and it seems that isntalation succesfully went through.
So is it all based on Intel graphics driver? I guess there has to be some different file where i can change ID`s of my device. Do you know the way how to look it up ? And if I succesfully install Intel graphics drivers I will have to change the IDs in the every single setup or it will go through without any issue then?
Thanks again for helping me!

You're very welcome.
I downloaded the graphics driver file from the support page, and you need to modify the ki118970 setup information file.
If you post the hardware ID for the Intel graphics (should be a standard vga adapter) listed under the display adapters device manager category I will modify the inf file, zip it up, and attach it and you can overwrite the one in the driver folder you have.
Once you modify the driver...if this works, you will run the setup.exe file to install the driver once, and you're done.
Then you can install the nvidia graphics driver after you restart the PC.

Here u go;)
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_591B&SUBSYS_8217103C&REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_591B&SUBSYS_8217103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_591B&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_591B&CC_0300
Hopefully it will work 🙂
And what about the LAN and Wifi drivers etc? Can`t get those as well.
I will try it out tomorrow once i get up.. 4:30 am here. 12h with windows for me haha

OK, I have zipped up and attached the modified setup information file.
Download and unzip the file.
Copy and replace the file in the Graphics folder of the sp78357 driver file.
It is currently 10:00 PM here, so when I get up I hope that you write that this experiment worked.
Lan driver:
This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75522.exe
I don't know what model wifi adapter your notebook has.
Please post the hardware ID for the device you see listed as a Network Controller, and I will post the wireless driver you need (my) tomorrow morning.

Hi again;)
So I unzipped and replaced the file, ran the setup and got error message "my device is not supported"
I will print-screen all error messages everything and send you those driver IDs. I managed to get LAN drivers working from your link so I am dowloading important updates for win7 atm - it might help? So thats why I will send u print screens and IDs as soon as updates are done.
As you said the main issue is Intel Graphics driver - I believe we will make it working !!
Really appreciate your help!

Sorry that didn't work.
Since no one made a graphics driver for W7, an update won't fix the problem.
See if this works...
Go to the device manager and click on the standard vga adapter under the display adapters device manager category.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the Intel graphics driver folder.
That folder should be located in C:\SWSetup\sp78357. That is where the modified graphics file should be if you copied and overwrote the file there.
Make sure the include subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way.
If that doesn't work, you are stuck unless and until you can get the Intel graphics driver to install.

Doing it through Device manager did not help either - It says: That my device already has updated drivers.
Here is the print screen where I just run the setup after the file u sent me pasted into the proper folder
Here is my hardware showing in Device Manager:
I really feel it should be showing at lest my Intel HD 520 graphics and Nvidia graphics in my device manager, besides it doesnt show my second 1 tera HDD. Its like my motherboard doesnt recognize these devices. But usually when i did fresh installation before, OS instatly recognized all of my hardware pieces even w/o drivers.
I went into the BIOS and there is lit almost no options to mess up with things except the boot option...The most limited BIOS I have ever seen in my life:(
Do u have any other suggestions ? 🙂

Sorry that didn't work.
You can re-read the post the guy did and see if you can modify the graphics driver yourself (though I am pretty sure I did exactly what he wrote down).
If you can't get that Intel graphics driver to install and recognize the HD 520 graphics adapter, you are dead in the water.
There is no point in going any further.
