Hi AttackofZaq,
I've just updated my system to Windows 8.1, then the rebooting notification problem started to pop up. So I did what you suggested: After uninstalling the HP Support Assistant and installed the latest version from the link (Windows 8.0 version) the notification problem seems to keep bothering. Any ideas?

i have the same problem! reinstalling Hp support assistant (latest version) does'nt resolve the problem. any time i double click on assistant tray, the pop up ask me to reboot to complete the updtes 😞

Hi,

The Patch worked for a while, but now the rebooting notification still pops up everytime I turn my PC on.

Im uninstalling it again till its fixed.

i resolved uninstalling Hp support assistant and reinstall this version:

Yesterday when reboot (after installation) assistant find 2 update (intel Hd graphic 4000) and Cyberlink media, but he's not able to install the new driver 😞

 

Today this update i think was removed 😐
