I am having the same issue. Actually my computer crashed in Sept. The cam worked fine in Sept because I Skyped with a few people. I installed the YOUCam but it will not work b/c the webcam can't be detected. Can you please send mee the drivers for the webcam HPTrueVisionHD lap top HP Pavillion 6v6-6b26us Entertainment PC

I have read your post on how the HP Truevision HD Webcam is not working for your notebook computer, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!

To ensure that the webcam software for your system is installed correctly, I recommend removing and re-installing the Cyberlink YouCam Software for your computer. To do this, please remove the webcam driver from the Programs and Features and install the driver below:

• Cyberlink YouCam Software

I would also encourage you to post your product number for your computer. Below is a is an HP Support document that will demonstrate how to find your computer's product number.

How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

My computer crashed a few months ago so I can't even see the webcam under devices there is nothing to click on.  

I did install this and it still can not see it, I will uninstall and try again and report back.
