Its been almost a month and no one has bothered to assist me with this. I answered the question long ago. I will reconsider purchasing anothe HP machine.. Who has computer re-install files and no drives for the camera itself.. this is quite useless!

the simplest solution for hp here would be to just post the link to the actual driver or the download in a zip format for the driver itself. As of right now I have personally given up on HP providing a concrete solution to any issue with software on thier machines. I am therefore done with HP and compaq products after this machine.
