My operating system is Windows 8.1
From the very first start, just start the operating system, this message appears.
I have already done all the updates but does not change anything.
The strange thing is that not always the case ....
I also tried to format and restore the system to the origin (even if the error was present from the beginning).
These are the details:

Purchased my HP Envy in January 2015 and received this error message on initial startup. Read all the suggestions here, but was afraid to try removing drivers on my own. Instead I used the HP support chat service. The HP technician took control (with my permission) of the screen and did all the work while I watched. It was a fairly technical and complex fix that took about 15 minutes including two reboots. When the computer rebooted, the tech was already there ready to continue once the startup finished. He fixed the problem, patiently waited for one more boot to make sure the error message was gone, and then offered to call me back in 1 hour to see if everything was still OK. Cannot recommend this service enough. Very surpisingly good service from HP. This is my first HP because I always heard bad things about their service, but their obviouly working on fixing it. Not sure if this service is available if your computer isn't in warranty. Perhaps for a fee, but still worth it.

Someone can help me? The notebook was paid € 900 and all that it seems absurd ...

No one answered, but I think it is a small problem, as it should be tied to the icon of the graphics card.
Probably is a recent problem, and then we'll have to wait a few particular update.
However technicians hp should at least say something about it, because the PC is new......!!!!

Hopefully an HP body will come to life in the new year. (Anybody there???)
While we wait... I've tried persuading Intel to update the driver, but despite my onboard graphics card being displayed/sold as Intel Iris, the Intel updater app says that the graphics card is manufacturer specific or modified (so presumably HP personalised the intel iris somehow) and so I need to do any updates via the notebook manufacturer - one possible fix method ruled out.
If the issue is just about the graphics card icon as you say and not about the graphics card performance then I can relax a bit in the hope that work won't be affected when I wind myself back up.
Let's hope someone comes up with something nice and simple nice and soon.

Thanks for your reply.
I was careful to ensure the bundled Mcafee didn't get a look in: it was probably the first thing I uninstalled after switching it on - and I've updated all drivers since, so unfortunately not a solution in this case but perhaps it will help someone else. It is good to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
