How do I turn on my integrated webcam?

The problem is likely a bad connection to the webcam. I have had to resort to the "sophisticated" technique of tapping on the frame near the webcam to get it to work.

Pop message says that webcam is not identified. and \i should turn it on. How to do it? this is th quwstion

It doesnt give me the option to go into my settings therefore I still dont have a working webcam...

I have gone through all the updates...

All the forums say go through your device manager and then go to imaging devices but for some reason mine doesnt have that...

I use to be able to use my webcam all the time and then one day it just up and stopped... A few months back it worked for a few hours and then the next time I tried to use it again it didnt work... Please Help fix this problem

How do I turn on my integrated webcam? I have an hp an I have the cyberlink youcam program. When I open the program an error message pops up that says the following: "No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera make sure that it is turned on." I have been searching for a way to turn it on and have not come accross it.

Are  your running Windows 7 or Windows 8?

Do you know if you have YouCam on your notebook?

Do you know if you have an integrated webcam?

On Windows 7, for example, you can enter Cyberlink or YouCam at the Start menu, Search All Programs and files box.

i have a hp pavilion dv6000,and i am currently using cyberlink youcam program.....but now the webcam has stopped working and it is saying no webcam detected,try plugging in a webcam in your now,if you are using a integrated camera make sure it is turn on....and i dnt know now to turn on the integrated camera.....this webcam thing is stressing me out because i am trying my best to turn back the webcam back on and it is not working.......so please just give me some advise for how to make my webcam up and running please.

I have the exact same problem with the built-in webcam on my compaq presario CQ62. It won't recognize the webcam at all. Could someone help me, please?
