You are not able to open up your webcam, is that correct? I will try to help you.
Do you currently have windows 7 or windows 8 installed?

It doesnt give me the option to go into my settings therefore I still dont have a working webcam...
I have gone through all the updates...
All the forums say go through your device manager and then go to imaging devices but for some reason mine doesnt have that...
I use to be able to use my webcam all the time and then one day it just up and stopped... A few months back it worked for a few hours and then the next time I tried to use it again it didnt work... Please Help fix this problem

Hi.
Are your running Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Do you know if you have YouCam on your notebook?
Do you know if you have an integrated webcam?
On Windows 7, for example, you can enter Cyberlink or YouCam at the Start menu, Search All Programs and files box.
If you have it, these are the directions for setting YouCam up:

i have a hp pavilion dv6000,and i am currently using cyberlink youcam program.....but now the webcam has stopped working and it is saying no webcam detected,try plugging in a webcam in your now,if you are using a integrated camera make sure it is turn on....and i dnt know now to turn on the integrated camera.....this webcam thing is stressing me out because i am trying my best to turn back the webcam back on and it is not working.......so please just give me some advise for how to make my webcam up and running please.
