My laptop won't turn on when I push the power button.

my hp 2000-2116 tu laptop doesn't comes on. last week when I used, it was working properly but not now.

now when I press the power button, the power button and wi-fi button blinks repeatedly after 5-10 seconds but no display comes on.

The same thing happened to my computer. In my case however, the screen used to flicker before freezing or shutting down immediately. At first I thought it was just overheating but it never really used to feel warm after using it for less than 2 hours. One day, I tried to turn it on again and it never came on. I asked my son to check it out and he said the power light kept flashing but the computer never came on. I tried charging it overnight, removing the battery, but the result was the same. I've only had this laptop for 9 months now. If anybody knows the problem and can fix it, please let me know.

I have a laptop hp pavilion 17.one day the laptop dont turn on and when i charge dont turn on the light of charger,battery is ok and charger is ok, i replace the power jack but problem countinues. Help please

My laptop has wndows7 ultimate its not turning on but light flashes continually after a sec or 2 on the caps lock key when i m pressing power button a light is also there on the charging side which glows only when charger is connected but it is glowing inspite the charger is not connected......pls somebody help me i want to fix it early...😞😓😌😭😩😰😱😵☹🙇🙏🙎🙍

I have an HP laptop it want power on at all. I have taken the battery off unplugged the adapter held the power button down for 30 seconds. Its not working. I've had my laptop for about 4 months. So what do I do? Its still under a year warranty.

I have this problem and can't figure it out. Exactly likw they said before. I can plug in adaptor and the light comes on but I push power button and nothing happens. At a total loss. Model number 2000-2b29wm

I must add that after scrolling thru 19 pages of post with similar power on issues with HiP laptops,  the HP moderators replies have been very disappointing and insufficient to be of any help.   t seems to me that there is a real .   design problem with all these various models of HP laptops based on all the similar symptoms.

seems to warrant a recall and fix offer by HP.  I have been working on a HP 2000 laptop that will not turn on with AC adapter but with a charged battery from another HP computer ,,,it will power up.  when the adapter is plugged in --the charge stat

sounds like a moherboard charge and power circuit issue.  any suggestions or other thougths HP???

i've the same problem too. my laptop won't turn on when i turn the power button ... first i thing the problom come from virus ...i've tried too many times to turn on the button but still could not on ... so to avoid that problem i had change my motherboard's battery ... after i change my motherboard's battery, its working ! but .... its working just a one week onlyyyy .... after that my laptop goes to the same problem, which couldn't turn on like usual. so what the problem that attack my baby lappy 
?!! please help me .....
