So did it die because the battery ran down? If not I suspect it may have been and overheating issue that may have cause the video chip either to be in soldered from the motherboard or the chip may have fried!! Post back if u think it died because the battery ran down too low to keep it powered! Assuming it was the overheat of the chip. Due to the video demands of the game. You could try the hair dryer trick on it!! Take hair dryer and blow hot air into the cooling vents with better removed. For about 2 minute or a little less. Then immediately plug AC adapter in and see if it will boot up. Post back with answers and results

did you try the suggestion for most users to remove  the battery and disconnect the ac adampter  then hold the power button down  for like a minute.  then reconnect ac adapter and try to boot it up   ...let us know if this procedure worked for you...

Back up your files to an external drive. It could happen sgIn and not be recoverable. Until you can buy a dell or to shins instead

I tried everything in the book and my laptop is still not coming on I'm getting upset

and you have confirmed  that the  ac adapter and the battery are both good!     do you see any  lights/leds on at all ? especially the one next to where the ac adapter plugs in?            was there anything unsual about how it powered down  last??

any light on the cap lock button  or on the power button itself? any sounds like fan spin up and off harddrive clicks etc?   how old is this laptop and what model number?

as I have said before   do not HP laptops  the future....buy dell or toshiba instead.   they are more reliable.   guess its possible that the DC jack is failed too  where the ac adapter plugs in.   only way to know if this is the cause is plugging in a battery that has a charge on it and if it still will not power up        dc jack is probably ok

My dads computer will not turn on. I've tried everything I have read on the internet. I've undone the battery let it sit everything. I don't believe he has even had it for a year yet.

If less than a year old it is still under HPs warranty. Get it repaired while still under warranty. And pray after the warranty expires that it does not fail in the same manner again.
