I have office university 2010 that was never used for college. Is it possible to use that version to install an OS? Then update back to windows 7 home?

Microsoft Office 2010 is just an application and no, it cannot be used to install an operating system Windows.

This is my only computer in the house. Now, unless my Xbox one can download the OS to a USB flash drive, I have no other options. Also, unless the Microsoft Office University 2010 edition installs an OS, I could go from there. Otherwise I have no way of accessing the internet

I want to use Windows 7. Windows 10 really slowed my computer down A LOT, and it gave my computer a whole lot of pop ups and ads that I think were becoming malaecious

I have 1 other computer but I do not think I have a charger cord for it. And if I did, I cannot remember my admin password. It's been years since I've used it.

If you are posting from a smartphone now, there are 3 ways to fix the issue:

- buy Windows 7 HP Recovery media (if available) - official procedure

- use another PC - friends' PC to perform the instructions and download the Win 7 ISO (unofficial procedure)

- send the PC to a repair - tech repair IT store

Please, provide your product number and model first and I will provide you with instructions

In the process of resetting my computer, the system crashed 44% of the way through it. Not sure what happened. But I get a black screen with an error message saying no OS found. Memory and Hard Drive tests all pass with flying colors. However, Entering F11 for a system Recovery shows a blank screen. Any ideas? This all occured after installing a Windows 10 update. Try to rever back to Windows 7 but the system crashed half way through. Windows 10 was a complete disaster, slowed my computer down to the caveman era and infested the PC with malware and bugs. Reset the PC only to be dealing with an even bigger problem. Any ideas WITHOUT needing to BUY any recovery media? This was NOT USER ERROR. Does it fall under any type of warranty in that case?
