Hey i just upgraded my computer from windows 7 to windows 10. after downloading noticed my wifi wasnt working and in the network settings it doesnt even show a wifi setting. It has airplane mode and ethernet but no wifi tab. so at first i had no internet connection at all not even ethernet would work. so i updated my ethernet driver and now i have ethernet but wifi still doesnt work. Ive tried updating it as it states i have the latest version. I also tried turning on my wireless lan auto config through task manager/services and it wont start up. I get error code 0xc00ce552: 0xc00ce552. ive looked at multiple forums to see what i can do and ive tried going to the registry to check for errors. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and im still stuck with no wifi. i need help big time!!!!

Hi there @smokeysylve,
Before I provide troubleshooting documentation, I would like to take a minute to welcome you to the HP Support Community, where you can ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! Have you tried to Restore the BIOS?
I did some research and found a great document for you called Troubleshooting Wireless Network and Internet. This document will help you troubleshoot the Wifi issue.
You could also try the following:
- Go to the Device Manager.
- Expand Network Adapters.
- Right click on all of the Network Adapters individually.
- Click Uninstall.
- Restart the Notebook twice.
There is also a document called Wireless Internet and Bluetooth Is Slow or Does Not Connect; this document is specifically for if you have a Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Driver.
If that does not work, you can use the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system at the time of purchase or that need to be updated. Some say this download helped fix this problem as well. It is from Microsoft Fix it.
If you require further assistance, I would be more than happy to continue to help you. Please re-post with the results of the troubleshooting steps provided.
Have a great day!
