@clusie
Go to:
Control Panel -> Device Manager
Right click each device with yellow exclamation mark ( ) and choose ' Properties '. Next select ' Details ' tab, use the dropdown selector to choose Hardware Ids and paste all the values from there to the next reply. This way I will be able to find out which driver you need.
Below you've got example how to do it:

Hi, Ann:
The hardware ID you posted is for HP integrated bluetooth device that needs a driver.
This is not going to get the digital media slot to work however.
You can try this card reader driver and see if that works for you.
Best Regards,
Paul

This worked great for me !!
I went into Device Manager
Uninstalled the SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller
Rescanned for Hardware changes
It found the controller.
It said it could not find a suitable driver & prompted me to download from the manufactures site.
I downloaded it (saved it)
Then ran it
VOILA...!! The Smart Card works now too !! 🙂
BTW,
I have a NC6400 running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
