Someone could install the Catalyst Control Center of the HP site, AMD drivers?
Because my computer originally came with windows 8, but when I upgraded to windows 8.1 I can't install that driver correctly, and I think that will affect windows 10 update
I have a Pavilion 14, Intel core i7 and HD 8670m

The first time i check is the restart system.
Well this is the first time I see my laptop restart normaly without loosing power and turn on again. The light in power button never goes off not even 1 sec.
I know it's a premature, i'll report it again after several tests.
I'm right there with you. Just reverted to the driver on HP's site, which for my device is 6.0.1.7219 (4/9/2014). I had the same experience with my first restart, which seems promising. We'll see what happens from here...
This is just irritating to me. Several times I tried to download and install 7219 but it keeps showing up as 7535 which wasn't even the one I originally had (it was 76 something).

@Sibu16 you are the man !!!! bro your solution worked for me and i am really grateful that you saved my life, saved me from the nightmare we were in for weeks.i just ran the command "powercfg -requests" and expectedly my PC showed an error saying PERFBOOST:"Legacy Kernel Caller". i just afterwards installed Realtech audio drivers for windows 8.1 version 6.0.1.7358 dated 06-Oct-14.now i can sleep /shutdown my PC without any issues. i will update this form about the long term outcome. Its really shameful ful HP /microsoft for failing to help us or providing any solution .Again thankyou all for your valuable inputs and those who worked really hard to find the solution on this form on their own.Thank you @Sibu16 @sat3rn @re4med for sparing your most precious time for finding a really working fix/solution.and again shame on you HP/Microsoft.i am really disappointed as well as very angry at your unprofessional/uncooperative attitude.

I remain unconvinced this is THE solution. It is A solution. Your solution would be far more impressive if you could tell us, with absolute certainty, why it APPARENTLY worked. None of us is certain why and most experts would say that it should not have mattered. This all said after upgrading SIX computers to Windows 10 of which THREE of them completed in the suggested method, through Windows Update. All six upgrades performed painlessly. No issues.

It's still early days yet but it's looking good! lol. I had no reason to doubt you, you said it worked for you and continued to work for you. It wasn't that I didn't believe what you were saying, but because none of us had a clue (and still don't!) about what was definitely causing the problem, I didn't want to risk rolling back to 8.1.
In the end I had changed that many different settings and drivers on my laptop I felt like I needed to do a clean install, so I thought it was worth a shot!
I'm just glad its worked! Thanks again!

I apologize if this has already been suggested but disabling the network adapters from waking up my PC seems to have fixed my problem (I figured if it was already mentioned, it would appear in the main post by now). So far, I'm able to turn off my computer and have it go to sleep, if it hasn't been posted yet then I hope this helps.
1.) Go to Device Manager.
2.) Go to Network Adapters. For me, I have four devices in my section, but the one that has primary settings for me is the Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC. This may be different (especially if you don't have Intel) but your primary adapter should have a section called Power Management.
3.) Right click and go to properties. As mentioned prior, go to Power Management.
4.) There should be a setting called "Allow this device to wake the computer." Uncheck this.
5.) Turn off your computer, put it in sleep mode, etc.
After several tries, my computer seems to be working normally. I also suggest updating your drivers (as mentioned in the main post, this was also a temporary fix for me). Again I apologize if this was already mentioned, but I hope that this helps anyone else with the same problem.

I appreciate that your just offering to help, but I can assure you that most of us in this thread have been through just about every possibility there is and the "fix" never lasts very long! I've messed about with drivers constantly over the last two and a half weeks and I can get a short term fix for a few hours, but then the fault will return somewhere else. Which is the reason it's been so hard to fix!
[EDIT]: Up until I tried Satern's fix. That seems to of done the job for me! Usually I would of had a problem by now.

Welp... No luck for me on reverting the Realtek High Definition Audio driver. Still unable to consistently sleep or shut down.
Has anyone with an Envy 15 x360 attempted to revert to Windows 8.1 and then re-upgrade to Windows 10 via the Media Creation Tool? If so, has it resolved the issue?
I'm hesitant to go that route until I'm relatively convinced it will resolve the issue once and for all.
