You're very welcome.
Sorry that you were not able to get W7 to completely work on that notebook.
I checked the HP business support site and they don't have any business notebooks with that hardware.
Business notebooks normally have W7 driver support.
The AMD graphics driver I posted from AMD stated it would work on the graphics setup your model has.
But that doesn't always turn out to be the case.

Didn't you make the set of W8.1 recovery disks before installing W7?
The W8.1 Windows file from Microsoft won't work with the product key in the PC's BIOS.
You can try it, but I am 99.9% sure it won't work.

You will have to order a set of recovery disks from HP.

Hi
Thanks for the link
I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 and the laptop died.
Now its running but not well on Win7.
Any suggestions on how I can resurect it?
Could you send me an 8.1 disk or could I download it anywhere?
Thanks

PS
Cn you tell me how to do a clean reinstall.
I usually insert the disk, delete partitions, then install, but when I do this on the HP it will tell me I'm deleting important files.
Can I delete partitions before doing a clean install?
Thanks
Tony

Hi, Tony:
You should be able to.
I don't think I have ever gotten that message before, and if I did, then I must have ignored it..
I get rid of all the partitions and create one large partition.
You may want to consider taking the free upgrade from W7 to W10 and see if you have better luck the second time around.
