Hi Cloud,
Per your instruction, I was following the thread by "DaivdPK" to download the Miscrosoft window 7 64 bit ISO from the site below
but it kept on loading without ever getting me connected to the site. I tried a few times but it never worked out. I would be very grateful if you could provide another link to the same site.
Thanks again for your great helps!

I was successful in downloading the ISO. It was a large download and it took around 30 minutes for me to download it.
The site was functional for me, so not entirely certain why it did not work for you. I can only recommend trying it again.
However, here is the link to the recovery disk order page for your system should you prefer that path.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Cloud,
You are my savior for the second time around!!!!!! This time I was able to get connected and downloaded that Win7 ISO, then rebooted the notebook off that disc, and voila, it got resurrected!
By not starting off a new thread for this second problem, I kind of feel terrible for not being able to give you all the extr kudos you deserve and all the successful problem resolutions you have done for me. Please tell me what I can do to make it up for you!
Before I sign off, I do have to bug you for one last question: after reloading the new OS, the desktop looks really clean now, but I do see the Internet Explorer icon. However, after clicking it open, I couldn't get any wireless connection. When I clicked on the "diagnosing connection problem" link and opened the "detcting wireless signal" option afterwards, an error message "no harware detected" popped up. I wonder if this was due to the loss of some wireless connection driver on the reloaded computer? Since now all I got is the newly loaded Win7 home premium OS and nothing else. Maybe I need to download some HP internet drivers so it could detect the wireless signal again?
The new ISO download didn't discard my old program files, but merely movd them into a folder named"Windows old". I could find the "Internet Explorer" folder in there. Should I just copy that folder into the new program folder to regain the connection?
Thanks again for your fantastic supports!

Hi Cloud,
I ran the internet explorer "Diagnose connection problem" manager again, and this time, it's showing a clear answer:
"Did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you need to install the driver". Then I hit the "continue" button and it showed that "Connection problem successfully discovered. Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter".
I went on HP support site and found 8 different network driver downloads. I don't know if this is the right site and if so, which one of them to choose for my notebook: Pavilion g7-1070us, Window 7 home premium 64-bit (but this OS is the originally factory-installed OS; after I installed the new Win7 ISO off the link you kindly provided, guess I need to be sure to download a driver compatible with the current new OS?)
Oh, another trivial issue is that now when I start the notebook, it actually will show a black "Windows Boot Manager" screen, asking me to choose between "Window 7" and "RMDISC". If I don't choose anything, after 1-seconds, it automatically chooses the Win7 OS to boot of.
Sorry to bug you again!

Since there is a windows.old folder on the system after the process, it looks like it was actually installed over the current installation. I reviewed the procedure again and it should have just repaired the boot section and startup files. In any case, I am glad it is functional again.
However, this does mean that all the drivers will need to be installed including the wireless driver. Copying the Internet Explorer folder from windows.old won't resolve this issue.
The good news is that it looks like this system supports Intel Wireless Display. There are three requirements for wireless display from Intel to work: Intel graphics card, an Intel wireless card, and a TV that supports it. There were only two Intel drivers listed, but I would start with this one first since it is the newest of the two.
Here are a list of other drivers that you will need:
NOTE: Install the HP Software Framework before installing anything else including the wireless driver listed above.
Audio
Intel Chipset
Intel MEI
Switchable Graphics (AMD and Intel). This includes both the AMD driver and the Intel graphics drive...driver.
Touchpad
Intel Rapid Storage
Card Reader
Intel Turbo Boost
These should be all the drivers you would need for this notebook. Since you do not have Internet access at the moment on that system, download these to an external storage and install them on the system from there.
Here is some additional software you may need. This software is optional for the most part, but installing them will provide some functionality that may no longer be present. The links should take you to the download page where a little more information about it can be found. Review the following and download what you wish to install. I definitely recommend installing HP Support Assistant as it can help with keeping the software updated.
Essential System Updates
CyberLink YouCam
Intel Wireless Display
HP QuickLaunch Software
HP Recovery Manager
Lightscribe Software
HP Wireless Assistant
HP Support Assistant
HP Power Manager Utility
On-Screen Display Utility
I know this is a lot of information, but I wanted to get everything in one place for you to eliminate some of the leg work.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi Cloud,
Thanks again for your tremendous supports! I am very lucky to have your wonderful guidance.
I will proceed and download all these drivers/sofewares into a DVD and install it in the system. I assume the computer will know where to save them (guess in the Program folder?).
Will certainly keep you informed (or more like bugged).

On a side note, your recovery partition may no longer be functional since it failed previously.
Just to have a backup should you ever need to have the system installed the way it came out of the box, it may be worth to go ahead and order the recovery disk set. I only recommend this since recovery disks are not guaranteed to be available at a later time. I would hate to not order them and then have an issue down the road that mandates the official recovery disks and they aren't available.
With that said, there is no real rush at the moment to get them since it is backup and running.
