hi,,

Run the 6770m (sp55092.exe) first and select uninstall--> custom-> select all

RESTART the computer..

Then

Install the driver...(the same you have downloaded...sp55092.exe).. double click onit---INSTALL-->Custom-->select all...

Complete the installation

and then restart the computer..

hi..

You will use INTEL drivers if you don't have a graphic card in your computer..

In your case,,,,, You had AMD graphics,,, so you will just install ATI HD drivers and it will automatically install ATI and Intel drivers..

YOU SHOLUD NOT INSTALL INTEL DRIVERS... INSTALLING ATI HD DRIVERS WILL INSTALL INTEL DRIVERS AS WELL..

ATI HIGH DEFINITION DRIVER are packed with both 6770m and intel graphic drivers...

FYI:  You can check this by running.....sp55092.exe.. double click onit---INSTALL-->Custom--> select all

in this custom screen you can see INTEL MEDIA COMPONENTS....which shows it will install intel drivers as well

THANKS SIR..YOU HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL...SIR IF I WANT TO UPDATE THE AMD DRIVERS THAT I HAVE INSTALLED FROM THE AMD WEBSITE....WILL I BE ABLE TO DO THAT? AND WOULD IT CREATE ANY PROB?WILL IT ALSO INSTALLS OR UPDATE MY INTEL DRIVERS WHEN I UPDATE FROM AMD SITE?

hi.

you can't get any updates directly from amd for switchable graphics.. AMD auto detect tool can't find your display adapter..

Only (manufacturer website) HP can give updates for these type of drivers..

BUT I HAVE BEEN CHECKING FOR UPDATES FOR THE LAST YEAR ON HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT....AND NEVER GOT THE UPDATES....WHATS THE REASON..I HAVE GOT THE LATEST VERSION OF HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT...WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ALSO IS ABOUT RAPID STORAGE TECHNOLOGY DRIVER...AS ACCORDING TO HP WEBSITE IT IS UP TO DATE...BUT WHEN I GO TO INTEL WEBSITE THEY HAVE GOT THE LATEST ...AND THERE IS QUITE A LOT OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM, THE ONE ON HP SITE AND THE INTEL SITE...SHOULD I KEEP THE HP SITE DRIVERS.....WHATS THE REASON THAT HP DOESN'T UPDATE THE DRIVERS LIST...AS I HAVE BEEN SEEING THE SAME DRIVERS SINCE 2011....
