Thanks mate, u are the best!
You are right, verification tool nor beta driver from ati site does not work. But drivers u linked does work.
Im playing Rome2 and before update i had black squares showing up on my battle map frequently. Now they gone.:)
Though, i still feel i was scammed with this notebook. When i bough it i did believe HP (well known brand) will update drivers regularly.... well it is my first and the last hp product.

I absolutely agree with you! Next time it's Lenovo for me. HP was a big mistake.
One other thing I wanted to mention is that, as I said earlier, for Win7 x64 HP provide, at least for my HP Pavilion dv7-6b76eo notebook, the 8.882.2.3000 driver of 2011 explicitly for 6770m, and I manually decided to go for the 6700m drivers which are 9.002.0.0000 and are of 2012 (and do seem to work better). So guess what, now I just had a look at the Windows8 x64 drivers for my HP Pavilion dv7-6b76eo notebook and the driver they provide for the AMD GPU there is the exact 9.002.0.0000 of 2012, which I am using now. Funnily enough on Win 7 currently, windows update keeps bugging me about switching back to the 6770m drivers cos it can sense that I'm using the ones for 6700m. And ridiculously enough for Windows 8 that's exactly what they are offering. What gives? Doesn't make sense HP! I even downloaded the those drivers for Windows 8 and it tells me there's nothing to update cos I already have the darn driver installed, despite the fact it's for 6700m. What an piece of crap all of this...
Good luck to you all...

Hey guys.
I found some modified drivers for which laptops has switchable graphics AMD HD 6770 and Intel HD Graphics. I am using it now without any problems. I suggest it, but if you have any problems, I am not in charge. I can use my GPU's full power now ^^
PS: Sorry for my bad English ^^

Hello mfk1bee. I understand you are looking for a display driver compatible with Windows 8.1. According to this HP website, HP does not possess compatible Windows 8.1 drivers for this computer: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5204...
You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the relevant driver for Windows 8. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, and whether or not this suggestion is helpful.

Another version of the same problem. AMD has very likely made available updated Intel/ATI driver sets that cover this chip, and there has been plenty of time for HP to test under 8.1; it makes no sense that there is no driver available yet for HP laptop owners.

@tonymartinez wrote:I went to AMD website to get the dirvers for my new laptop's video card. They weren't compatible and sent me here to download your drivers. I installed them worked perfectly, but then after 2 minutes of playing a game (Minecraft) it froze, and went into a 1sec black screen then said the driver crashed and successfully resolved the crash. I attempt again to play the game and yet again the same sequence accured. Please assist me!

I have the same problem when using programs like AE or Touchdesigner its preaty anoying since most of software will crash when driver break and recover. Imagine this hapening while live performance, thats why I borrow my friend's lenevo for acting.
I'm using latest AMD driverer 13.11 beta 9,2 becouse Hp don't update drivers for almost 2 years I'am very disapointed becouse I bought this computer 2 years ago and As you can see it was aoutdated in day I bought it...
My laptop is pavilion dv7-6140ew.
I know tat AMD don't support switchable graphics in their drivers and only HP drivers are cool with that, but it works! And crashes less than on orginal one.
I would love to see an uptade for drivers! We have new windows 8 fro almost a year and I can't still upgrade ! WHY ? Becouse this company got me in the a**. I still have 1 year of guarantee but my computer is getting wasted on this outdated software you give us. Can I have a word on that from HP customer support ?

A reminder to anyone here who has an extended HP warranty on their hybrid graphics HP laptop. HP still has to support you. Push tech support, and get escalated to case management. If enough of you do that, maybe someone in HP engineering will get the latest drivers from AMD (which we can't do individually) and repackage them for HP users (hopefully testing them first).
