Which is a good thing at the moment. If they installed the latest drivers now it would break every machine that downgraded the Intel drivers to 9.5.

My problem is I cannot found with version download, my laptop is an ellitebook 8760W with chipset QM67, there is not reference at all about it, and in HP site there is no drivers for windows 10.

For the moment, I created a dual boot with windows server 2012 R2 so I am able to user Hypervisor, it work perfect.

sergio_8760w  first go to hp site --> support--->trouble shooting---->detect my product--->click find now--->it will find your laptop model---->if u r visiting this site for first time ---> hp will ask u to install software that detects  your laptop model ---> after your laptop is detected you can choose solutions/software or drivers/trouble shooting options.

I looked under the "HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads" on the HP site,  I thought the graphics driver might need an update. When I look at the device manager, it says that the graphics driver is version 10.18.15.4248. When I looked on the HP site, it said the latest version (from September 1, 2015) is version 10.18.10.4252. I downloaded and tried to install the latest version, but it said "this device doesn't meet the minimum requirements". What?

if power light doesnt go after system shutdown its problem with INTEL IME , change to old version of ime which u used in windows 8.1 . It seems that IME 9.XXX is not suitable for your laptop install older version  of ime . this solves problem almost all people in this blog got success with this procedure . i too solved this problem by installing ime 9.xxx .

first follow this steps :

1. uninstall presnt version of IME  restart your pc

2. install IME 9.xxx  by overwriting . it will ask to overwrite or not . say yes

3. IME 9.xxx overwrites

problem solved .

i followed this same procedure as said by senior member in this blog 'andigy'  i got sucess.

all the best .

Solution

Try these things this will work 100%

1) Update Bios

2) Update Graphics Driver

3) Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) (most important)

currenlty MEI latest driver not working on windows 10 so you have to update or install 9,10 version of MEI

this will work 100%

for find drive Hp Website just enter your product number

CRTL + R and type msinfo32.exe

Thanks..............

To get the settings to stick after a power down/up try this.

Press Win + R keys to launch Run menu

Type in regedit and hit Enter Key

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

Look for a key in that Install folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

Double click and change the value to 0

Exit Registry Editor.

Now try to configure Touch Pad settings.

i downloaded IME 9.xxx.(something) from the HP site but it didn't always work.

My hp 15 pavilion n004tu notebook shut down fully only about half (?) of the time.

So I went to the intel site and downloaded the same driver again.

Same problem.

So i went back to the HP site and tried a third time.

   - except this time it won't down load again.

An error message comes up - something about an application program not starting.

So I have to manually shut down my notebook  about 40%~50% of the time.

I never had this problem with windows 8.1

so if anyone is listening aviod windows 10 if you have an HP pavilion notebook.
