You need to update some things:
BIOS, software, and drivers as follows: Intel® Thunderbolt Firmware Update Utility, Intel Thunderbolt
Secure Connect Driver, graphics drivers, ASMedia eXtensible Host Controller Driver, Broadcom Ethernet
Controller Driver, and Conexant USB Driver.
- Install the latest BIOS.
- Restart the computer.
- Install the latest Intel Thunderbolt Secure Connect Driver.
- Restart the computer.
- Install the latest Intel Thunderbolt Firmware Update Utility
- Restart the computer.
- Install all remaining updates in any order. Restart the computer after each update.
If those already installed and you still having an issue go to the Bios > Advanced > Port Options > Turn port security off in the drop down.
Good luck 🙂

I am assuming you purchased ZBook 15G3, Studio G3, or 17 G3 with ZBook Thudnebolt Dock. Your OS image may not have the drivers for the dock and paltoform and dock may not have the latest firmware. Please look at the following Customer Advisory and update them. This CA listed the minimum requirements.
